In a bowl using a hand-held mixer, blend together all batter ingredients on medium speed until smooth and evenly combined.  Scoop butter mixture into a tightly sealed container to store in the refrigerator until ready to use.  Batter will store in the chill chest for up to 10 days, or frozen for up to 3 months.

To Make 1 Hot Gingerbread Bourbon Drink:

Place gingerbread batter and your favorite bourbon in a large mug.  Pour boiling water over mixture and stir until batter is melted.  Garnish with whipped cream and freshly grated nutmeg, if desired.
