It’s that time of the year again! The 16th year of an annual holiday tradition we started way back when in the Buffalo, NY area. You can read more about how this cookie custom started here. Since The Minions are high school graduates, our 12 Days of Christmas Cookies has morphed into a cookie charcuterie tray featuring 12 different concoctions. My school staff and The Hubby’s office enjoy them now. And my Pop! The UPS or FedEx sleigh delivers a big ol’ box of cookies over the river and across the plains to him every year.
This year’s official cookie compilation is great any time of the year, but the 2024 offerings are just a little more gussied up. Layered Neapolitan and icebox Orange Chocolate cookies get dressed up with drizzles of chocolate. Marshmallow and crushed peppermint adorn the Hot Chocolate confections too. In addition to looking pretty, the flavor profiles are more sophisticated with notes of espresso, salted caramel, exotic spices and toffee. Without further delay, the 2024 edition of the 12 Days of Christmas Cookies is below. Be sure to put a few out for Santa to stay on the nice list!
