Two words. Tiki House. Okay, maybe two more. Key West. With their fabulously fresh and heirloom Tiki libations delicately and purposely prepared, Tiki House is a both a local and visitor favorite watering hole! Every offering on the menu, both Happy Hour or not, has no objections from either myself or The Hubby! But last year I was curious for a change, so I asked Brad the Tiki Cocktail Guru to surprise me, make me something different. He queried if I like gin. Yes. Within a matter of minutes, a pale yellow, slightly icy liquid garnished with a cherry englobed by lemon peel was set in front of me. This 60’s era inspired cocktail didn’t disappoint…passion fruit, gin, lemon, almondy orgeat syrup, and a spiced funky rum called Falernum was set in front of me. Umm…yes, please! As with every Libation recipe I post, please enjoy responsibly!
